Reb warns The Post and Courier editor

Reb Sutherland, a SC gubernatorial candidate, was attacked
by a liberal editor of The Post and Courier newspaper located
in Charleston, S.C.  The family who owns the Charleston
newspaper also happens to own The Aiken Standard of
Aiken, S.C. and The Star of North Augusta, S.C.  Reb
 lives in Aiken County.

Reb sent the following letter to associate editor, Frank Wooten:

 Dear Mr. Wooten:
I am responding to your article in The Post and Courier
entitled "Legal bid to silence NAACP would be no-win
game for S.C."

First, thank you for mentioning my name in your newspaper.  The
fact that I am the first female Republican candidate to enter a race for the
South Carolina Governor's seat has been ignored by the liberal "minority
loving" press, and females are considered a "minority".  I appreciate the
kind attention to my candidacy.

You will also want to know that I am a nuclear scientist and
work at the Savannah River Site.

Second, your "crystal ball" for liberal decisions must be dusty.
I am referring to your predictions for my demise.

Third, you have misquoted me.  It is apparent that you have not
read my letter to Governor Hodges in which I merely quoted the law.
Instead, you chose to read a secondary source, a newspaper in  Spartanburg,
in which a reporter asked why families would be intimidated by the NAACP
border patrols.  I explained to him that families plan vacations to South
Carolina, and parents will want to protect their children from unwanted
dangerous confrontation -- either perceived or real.  The threat of
"economic sanctions" by the NAACP brings with it the use of intimidation by
"border patrols."

Fourth, for the record, I have been called into this race to
defend the Family.  There is a far greater issue at stake in South
Carolina -- the demise of the Family structure.

For the record, I do not represent the liberal atheists, and  I
will never represent them.  This country was founded on the basis of the
freedom to practice religion, and an atheist has no religion.

Instead, I am a God-fearing woman and say to the Christian
men, "You have failed to uphold your Covenant promises to protect
your own Family (Genesis 3:16, Ephesians 5:23).  You have been
negligent of your duty to God and Country. Therefore, God has moved upon the
women to rise up in battle to defend their young. I am one of them."

At this moment in history in the USA and in South Carolina,
our elected representatives have voted to give the State the power
to remove any child from its family at any time under the "suspicion" of
risk.  The definition of risk is broad in its scope and communist[ic]  in
its intent.  The legislatures, both in the federal and state levels, have
made our children wards of the State.  By law, they no longer belong to the
parents.  This is a direct violation of the Christian  biblical mandates.

The public school system is separating the children from the
parent.  For example, I have a coloring book given to South Carolina
kindergarten children that encourage children to seek help from caring
adults; unfortunately, the list of suggested concerned adults does not
include Mom or Dad.

The entire South Carolina House voted this year in favor of
HB-3364 which will place State control over home-schooling, private
schooling, and parochial schooling.  The required state certification
upon all high school diplomas will bring with it the atheist perspective
of the separation of Church and State.  God has been eliminated
from the public schools, and will now be removed from the home.

The Body of Christ appears to be anesthetized.  It is numb
and does not respond to the Living Christ.  The pastors have lead it
astray and will be held accountable for this phenomenon.  The churches lie
morally dormant.  Over 50 million babies have been murdered via abortion.
God has been extracted from the public tax-funded schools.  The Church
VOLUNTARILY silences itself of any criticism of elected officials under IRS
tax law 501-C-3.

If this is indeed "one nation under God", then who will respond
to God's call if not the Body of Christ?

In conclusion, let me be very clear with you and your newspaper
about my campaign.  I am engaged in a spiritual battle

(Ephesians 6:11-19).  When you attack me, if God chooses to come to my
defense, then I am not responsible for what happens to you, your family, or
your newspaper.  I come to you in compassion and love as one human being to
another with these words, because I know the power behind my campaign.  I am
covenanted to The Almighty God who sent my salvation through His son, Jesus
(Hebrews 8:8-13).

God is moving to set His children free.  It is my duty to warn
you (Matthew 11:15).  So be it.

                                                    With kindest regards, I am
                                                     Sincerely,
                                                     Reb Sutherland, M.Ed.
