"Long live freedom and damn the ideologies"...If the average person thinks long and hard about that it will scare the piss out of ‘em. The latest ideology being "paper patriotism", but it could be any of the standard fare which enslaves you. Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Freemason, Catholic, Protestant, black, white, male, female, liberal, conservative, Green, Constitutionalist, Communist, Socialist, etc... ‘Ists’ and ‘isms’ are going to be the death of us all. Really, can any of you stand on your own two feet without the need of a group to prop you up? Why do you need a "government" to tell you how to live? Most people answer that question by saying, "I don’t - the rules are there for the other guy". Anyone who thinks like that is a two-faced tyrant wanna-be.
Could you handle a world void of authority? So many claim allegiance
to "liberty" but are always ready to report the "sinner next-door" of a
code violation, and then have mercenaries perform the dirty work. Is it
possible to live without the jackboot - however small and velvet soled?
Can we operate from day-to-day without a uniformed death-threat lurking
in the shadows? Can you trust... yourself? I’m starting to wonder if that
is not the real problem. Perhaps most people, after the slightest of introspection,
realize that they are worthless slugs who would sellout their own mother
if given half a chance just to avoid real work.
These losers come in so many forms, but here’s the basics.
One group ignores the evil of the masters in order to keep the illusion alive that someone is actually qualified to direct their lives. This allows them avoid responsibility while looking important. The other group seeks to destroy any real leaders to enforce their belief that no one can stand alone; then the ‘herd mentality’ can be maintained, removing responsibility from the individual and placing it with the group. Both sides can then be played off the middle by those who crave power. And lets not forget those who hide from it all: the majority; those human ostriches demonstrating phenomenal gymnastic ability by burying their heads up their own asses. No threat to anyone but themselves and maybe the profit margin at the local all-you-can-eat buffet.
It all balances perfect - Government of the lazy, for the lazy, and by the lazy.
I’m really starting to believe that 99.5% can’t face reality. You want proof ?
Look at the world around you and take account of the lengths that are gone to just to propagate the ‘Big Lie’. Have you stopped to think lately about the amount of morons, liars, cheats, and low-lives you work with, live with, and deal with everyday? I don’t know about you, but I’m surrounded. Now attempt to gauge the amount of psychosis that is required for a person to put any part of there life or safety in the hands of someone else. The total denial that one has to flounder in to make it through the day is staggering. Every rule that is cried for is an admission of guilt; of mental illness. Lets face it, people don’t want to fend for themselves and they certainly don’t want truth. They need set parameters to invent a reality they can live within, and any parameters, no matter how bizarre, will do.
Case in point-vaccinations. Someone you don’t know has told you that you need to go somewhere you’ve never been, and have someone else that you’ve never met, take a syringe of you-don’t-know what, made by you- don’t-know-who, shoot it into your veins and bill you for it. Brilliant, huh? Total shut-down of the cerebral cortex is necessary for this to happen. If you question it, you’re the one with the mental problem, but for the ‘Baywatch’ fanatic - it’s paradise. No matter what happens it’s not his fault. He has done as he was told, and when a mistake is made he believes that insurance and the legal system will take care of him. The invisible Mommy and Daddy.
This exact type of thinking goes for schooling children as well. You ship your children off to be placed in the hands of people you don’t know. Sure, some parents actually get to know the teachers, but how can you really know them? How about the janitors, the lunch room staff, the administrators, the bus drivers, the bus mechanics, the people who write the books and set the curriculum . . . the other students? It would be bad enough if the kids were left with strangers just to be watched, but these people are actually given the power of indoctrination, and they are given that power by you. So what if you home school? What have you done to eliminate the public schools? Have you stopped funding them? Stopped paying your property tax? Quit buying lottery tickets? When was the last time you went to a P.T.A. meeting? For every one home school graduate there are 50 idiots let loose to stomp on any hope of a free society. By concentrating only on your child you are ignoring the world they will have to function in. You are leaving the mess for them to clean up which I’m sure they’ll thank you for later. No more worrying about birthday gifts. You’ll be handing them an all expenses paid trip to the local "gulag"- The gift that keeps on giving.
Everyone, including myself, is guilty of propagating this beast. Even the most backwoods hillbilly is part of ‘the system’ now and we love it. We have convinced ourselves that we can’t live without football, beer, bass boats, Nike’s, $200,000 homes, fast food, day care, ultrasounds, next-day air, Social Security, television, Lycra, pagers, and every piece of Chinese crap Walmart can stock the shelves with. We then pay for all of it with debt-based paper, kidding each other that it is actually worth something. It seems like the only time I see people really get upset is when it concerns the flow of Federal Reserve Notes. We have put a price on our liberty and it’s not even 30 pieces of silver, it’s 3 FRN’s = "Super Sized Big Mac meal". Stop equating freedom with the MacDonald’s drive-thru. It’s pablum. Act like a child-get treated like one, and they’ll even throw in a toy with your "Happy Meal". The "stuff"- all the trappings- they are a byproduct of freedom, they are not in and of themselves freedom. The Chinese have "Micky D's" but it don’t mean dick, so what are you willing to do without in order to make your own choices for yourself and be left to deal with the consequences?
In a society based on instant gratification and irresponsibility does it really surprise you that the "Terrorism Bill" is now law? We handed the "freedom car keys and a case of beer" to those 16 year olds we call government 225 years ago, and then told them to be back tomorrow with our heart medication. They got drunk and crashed it - What did you expect?
It is the nature of the beast, no matter how limited, to devour its creator. Especially when the creator has convinced himself that he can’t live without the creation. Keep feeding it until one day you run out of food - then it eats you. A "congressional keg-party" where you get to be the snacks. Nuts and dips anyone?
Our Constitution is full of loopholes to allow for expansion of government, and expand it has. The "potential tyranny football" is now the size of a zeppelin. The document has come full circle and started to rewrite itself. Article four of the Bill of Rights is no more; eliminated by perfectly legal means. I know a lot of you are wincing at that last statement but remember, Hitler came to power legally. It doesn’t make it right, but that’s what happened, and he was cheered along until the very end. The Hindenburg is over our house folks’ and we act like its normal because "Monday night football" is on. You need to start being honest with yourself.
Maybe you don’t realize it, but you wave rights every day. When you go to work you have waived your right to free speech. You will be fired if you stand on your desk or at the counter and sing "Great balls of fire" for 20 minutes, as well you should be. You have contracted to do a job in exchange for a paycheck, not entertain the troops , but then again you’re always welcome to leave. There are however, other restrictions that harm no one and should be called into question. For example, most work places do not allow their employees to be armed which is the employers right, but my problem is with the people who would work at such a place. You are allowing yourself to be stripped of your rights for money, which means you are quite simply, a whore (or a coward- take your pick).
Once you’ve compromised anything can be justified, and that is what has gotten us to this ugly chapter in our nations history. It’s easier to lie down with the beast than to fight it off the front steps, and I say that as a full fledged member of the consuming public who has compromised more then I care to think about. I go along with a lot more random prostate checks than I fight. Why? Because I’m comfy. The "Patriot Act" (yes, they actually call it that) is the biggest piece of blatant evil ever propagated on the American people and what do we do ? Whimper. That’s all. Just sit and complain. No one is going to do anything because it might cost them their comfort- the end. Never in the history of the world has a nations citizens been so well armed and so domesticated at the same time - the smell of Hoppes #9 on our breath from sucking our own thumbs. Shame on all of us, and if we do not quit this slave lifestyle cold-turkey very, very soon, we will damn ourselves and our posterity to eternal lives of "walking dead". Zombies floating in the permanent haze created by mass apathy.
Every rule and law is someone’s attempt at insulating themselves from their neighbors stupidity which simply does not work. It is your job to provide for your own security, so when you pass it off to someone else don’t act surprised when it doesn’t go the way you want.
People often question why the Jews allowed the Nazis to load them on boxcars. The answer is simple: fighting would have been too much like work. No one could claim that there wasn’t fair warning, but that "old living in delusion thing" was perched on their shoulders. The clouded hope that tomorrow it will all be O.K.. But things are different now. It’s a new era of peace, love, and breast enhancements, right? So, I guess I’ll go bust open a Dove Bar and quit worrying. I might even spend the afternoon beating my rifles into plowshares, or better yet - airport x-ray machines. For now though, I must be going- Springers on.
